Are you ready for DTV and the Digital Transition on February 17th, 2009?
On February 17th, 2009, all broadcast television stations in the United States will stop broadcasting on analog airwaves and begin broadcasting only in digital.

So, what does all of this mean to American consumers and their televisions? If you own a television set produced before 2004, chances are, your TV will not continue to work after the February 2009 digital transition. In fact, only a limited percentage of projection TV sets (42 inches in diameter or larger) included digital tuners before 2004.
